Laserdome - Lancaster, PA
Laserdome is a family entertainment center located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Founded by
Karl Ross in the late 1990's, Laserdome is home to a mixture of activities from adrenaline
pumping games to leisurely fun. These include laser tag, a laser maze, a racing zone,
rollercoaster sim, xbox zone, an extensive arcade with ticket redemption, and a snack bar.
Laserdome dedicated 2500 sqft of space (more than 2x what is needed) within their venue that was occasionally used for events and private parties. In 3 days, Enklu turned it into a free-roaming, headset based augmented reality playground, which we call a Holographic Theater!
Initially starting with 20 headsets, they later increased to 24 due to demand. The pricing model is set at roughly $0.71 per minute, with experiences ranging from $6.99 - $34.99 depending on duration. Laserdome also bundles Verse along with it’s other attractions.
The activation is operated for approximately 66 hours per week, by 1-2 staff members during open hours relative to the volume of pre-booked tickets. Marketing is facilitated by Enklu for paid digital advertising, while Laserdome oversees ticketing through their website and walk-ins.
Enklu Generated Ticket Sales: $257,427
Laserdome Internal Sales: $144,641
Total Ticket Sales: $402,068
After deducting all upfront and variablecosts as part of the Verse operation,Laserdome was able to achieve a Positive ROI in under 7 months!
